At CertifiedGreenJobber.com, it is our mission to help Jobbers attain Green with federal and state laws and regulations while avoiding customer penalties, fines, and media exposure. More importantly, our solutions are designed to maintain Green in your customers business, while keeping your staff members accountable for their own behavior. We offer comprehensive Green solutions, developed by the EPA and FTC.
Participating Jobbers can achieve CGJ certification after the program authenticates that the Jobbers personnel have taken the necessary Web-based courses required by the program. Each course is “lunch” length - under 60 minutes - and provides a wide range of baseline information about pollution prevention and, more specifically, about product choices that your customers can make to go Green.
Upon successful completion of the CGJ program, participating Jobbers can brand themselves and their employees in their advertising and marketing as “certified” sources of Green products, supplies and information.
Since Green products generally tend to be premium products, the CGJ courses can also serve as sales training for high-margin products, such as waterborne paint, engineered spray booths, energy efficiency equipment, waste management, and zero-VOC parts cleaning.
A Certified Green Jobber™ is good for both businesses and the environment. Incorporating CGJ practices at vehicle service and repair shops can result in big savings. Jobber customer cost savings will come from increases in energy efficiency, reduction in the amount of waste to be treated and disposed, decreases in regulatory and compliance costs, and reductions to workers' exposure that results in lost-time illnesses.
The cost is $400 per Jobber for training up to 5 salespeople on Green shop practices. (If you wish to train more than 5 salespeople, additional registrations are available for an additional fee.)
